TBK - A Novice Cooker Review

Last Sunday must be the day I've waited the most. At least for the last whole weekdays. It was my very first encounter to the baking stuff grocery aka Toko Bahan Kue (TBK). And the lucky store was Titan Baking on Fatmawati.


The store, not as i expected large superstore like, was a small ruko with rows of racks full with varied margarines, butters, flours and all other food making materials. But Titan's collection, which very famous among bakers - from novice to the pro - was quite complete. Here I found material used in most of cookbook I have. Pistachios, walnuts, almonds, in blanched or whole were among them. There're also varied leaves such as basil, rosemary, and thyme. And for flour, here I found lot of varians of wheat flour, cornstarch, tang mien flour (for making dumplings) and wheat bran.


If you are a novice cooker like me and want to find out about a lot of cooking - especially baking- stuff and material, I recommend this store. Just drag yourself to 22 Fatmawati Street, in front of BRI fatmawati, there you'll see a reddish brown billboard of TITAN Baking. Come on in and get drowned in a new enjoyment of cooking.
